The average four-year-old asks over 400 questions a day!
‘Daisy & Ollie’ is a pre-school series encouraging young children to be curious and question the world around them. An exciting question will arise as the children play, one they simply must find out the answer to. These questions can range from the sublime to the ridiculous, from the serious to the silly… and everything in between.
Daisy is an inquisitive and lively little girl and her thirst for knowledge knows no bounds. She is always searching to find out why things are how they are. If she doesn’t know the answer, she needs to learn it; the harder or more intriguing the question, the more she needs to know the answer.
Ollie is the same age as Daisy and lives in the house next door. He spends every day with Daisy while his parents are out at work. While a little less energetic and more considered than Daisy, he is enthusiastic and still has his boisterous moments. He is determined to find out how things are, how they are. A budding engineer in the making!
Daisy’s Daddy is a musician and can often be heard in the background, composing music or tinkering in his shed, only a heartbeat away from the children if they need him. He’s a bit of a joker with a dry sense of humour, prone to exaggeration, especially when caught up in one of the children’s adventures. The children love to play along with his imaginative ideas which unwittingly point them in the right direction.
Whizzy & Boo
Daisy’s very best friend is her toy monkey Boo, and Ollie’s is his toy robot Whizzy. Boo and Whizzy are no ordinary toys: they talk, walk, roll, cause chaos, solve problems, play games and are always involved in the Children’s discovery.
